Bike racing is a competitive sport which has several categories included in it. Few of them include road bike racing, mountain bike racing and cyclo-cross. One of the very famous sports in the world, bike racing is very popular in the countries of Europe and also in United States and Australia. Some of the popular countries which are devoted to bike racing include Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Netherlands and Switzerland.
Bike racing is mainly concerned with professional races and the three main bike racing events which are called collectively as the Grand tour. The Grand tour includes mainly three races and these take place in different areas. These three bike events are named as Tour de France, Giro d’ Italia and Vuelta a Espana. With the road races there are individual time trial and team time trial events also held.
